BLUES AT THE FORT - WHAT A GIG!

MONDAY 17TH MAY 2010
Well everyone, the Blues at the Fort gig was a fantastic event. We played to approximately 2,000 blues-hungry punters, hung around backstage with Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone, drank, ate and were generally very merry!

We took to the stage at about 7.30pm and played just over an hour`s set of storming, rockin` blues which seemed to go down really well with the audience.

We hope to get an invite back in the future! Thanks to all that attended and we`ll see you out there somewhere soon!

BLUES AT THE FORT

THURSDAY 22ND APRIL 2010
We`re delighted to announce that we`ll be playing at the legendary `Blues at the Fort` festival gig on Saturday 15th May. The festival takes place over two days (commencing Friday 14th May) and is playing host to some great music.

The `Thieves will be supporting iconic 1960`s band, The Zombies who had a top 20 hit with `She`s Not There`. The Zombies line-up includes Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent.

With great food, a well-stocked bar including 20 real ales and a festival atmosphere, this promises to be a `not-to-be-missed` event.

Times to be confirmed, but we`ll be on before the Zombies and will be performing a barn-storming 75-minute set.

This is one of the biggest gigs for us and we really look forward to seeing some of you there.

In the meantime, why not pop along to The Beaverwood Club in Chislehurst, Kent (see www.thebeaverwoodclub.co.uk for venue details). We`ll be on a double bill with the equally rockin` Danny Giles Band featuring, errrrr, Danny Giles from The Thieves!

See you out there soon!

MORE GIGS COMIN` IN....

WEDNESDAY 27TH JANUARY 2010
As promised folks, we`ve got some more great gigs booked for 2010. The band is officially back on the road. We look forward to seeing you soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

WEDNESDAY 13TH JANUARY 2010
Hi blues chums,

Happy new year to everyone!

It`s been a bit of a slow start to the year but rest assured, after the longest break this band has had in many years, we`re hungry and ready to rock for 2010.

We`ve got some blindin` gigs coming up so keep and eye on the gig list and we`ll post them as they get confirmed. One of the biggest this year will be the `Blues at the Fort` on Saturday May 15th, supporting legendary 60`s group, The Zombies. Further details can be found at www.bluesatthefort.com

Being the snobby, ego-maniacs we all are (!), we`re going all out for the larger and more quality gigs these days – plus, have you seen how much gear we`ve got!?.

There are some great venues and pubs out there that we love to play. We thrive on playing to a crowd that loves hearing our music and we hope to be spreading the good word of the blues throughout 2010.

Look forward to seeing you out on the road!
