Tony has been playing drums for 35 years, starting with Admiral Bond in the late 60's. Achieved his greatest success on the club and holiday camp circuit in the 80's with the comedy showband Secrets playing along side many top cabaret acts. Spent some time playing golden oldies with Total Recall and Commitments style soul music with The Business, who I also still play with. Moved into Blues with The Bannoffee Boys, which became The Bannoffee Blues Band when the late Mark Gunstone joined as front man. Joined The Chicago Thieves in 2004. I'm a Premier drum Co fan, and despite a recent tour of the factory, I'm still waiting for that endorsement......come on you guys! I use a variety of Zildjian cymbals to suit the music, and am currently using Vater nylon tipped sticks. It has taken me years to realise that it's my job to move the music along, and not trip up the other members of a band, by playing fills over their solos
