I have been playing piano and keyboards for twenty years starting from age 8. Classically trained I sold my soul to the devil to learn the blues and rock ‘n’ roll! Well, I taught myself over the years how to play it anyway! I love blues, rock ‘n’ roll, hard rock and good song writing music to listen to.
After owning a stack of pianos, synths and Hammond organs, I tend to use a Yamaha stage piano which can take a pounding on stage and have a Korg 01/WFD as a back up workstation. I also use an Oberheim/Viscount OB3 Squared B3 Hammond module for filthy gritty and proper organ sounds.
I’ve been playing in this band for nearly 10 years, which is frightening. No two gigs are the same. They get tighter and better – which is what I like! And that’s a good thing, because this is a seriously tight band!
